On the Moroccan Road Trip 2010 we carried a GPS tracker so friends and family could follow along online. As a bonus, we ended up with over 800 unique coordinates logged along the way, each one stamped with date, time, and occasionally a location description or speed reading.
We drove the Morocco loop anti-clockwise, heading down the west coast, around the south, and back up through the interior. The map above shows what the tracker actually recorded, which bears a loose resemblance to the route we'd originally planned, once you factor in the beach strandings, Atlas detours, and the occasional mid-rally rethink.
