Red — 60 Years Old, Still Running Strong

Sixth rally, fourth time into the Sahara

Red, our 1964 ex-military Land Rover Series 2A SWB, is now over 60 years old. Red is no stranger to the Sahara or to Rusty Rhinos rallies: this is our sixth rally with Red, and the fourth time heading into the Sahara.

Red has recently been fitted with a secondary fuel tank, doubling the driving distance between refuelling stops and giving us that extra bit of contingency for the more remote desert areas.
