The Route

Our route saw us go through 11 different countries. Starting in England, then going through France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan and finally Mongolia.

Originally we had planned to go through Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan as well, however we had to obtain all the visas ourselves and we did not have enough time to get the additional visas. We were actually glad to go through Kazakhstan only as it gave us the opportunity to explore the majority of Kazakhstan over the 9 days we were there for.

By the time we reached Mongolia, we had completed 8,461 miles, that is 13,537 kilometres!
